David joined Kirtland Capital Partners in July 2006. Throughout his career, he has gained extensive experience working with a wide variety of middle-market and Fortune 500 companies. 

In public accounting he served a range of clients as a senior accountant with Ernst & Young, and later as a manager with PricewaterhouseCoopers. He served as vice president for both KeyBank and National City. David was manager of Strategic Planning for Globe Metallurgical, Inc., in Cleveland, and he led the investment banking division of Barnes Wendling Corporate Finance Group in Cleveland as well.

Throughout his career, he has provided corporate advisory services that include turnarounds, recapitalizations, due diligence, mergers, acquisitions and divestitures for both public and privately held companies. He has structured complex transactions, arranged financing and spearheaded multi-million dollar projects from conception to completion.
