An important part of Kirtland Capital's investment philosophy is forming long-term partnerships with talented operating executives. In continuing this tradition, we are looking for operating executives who seek to leverage their industry knowledge and contacts to lead a focused acquisition strategy or management buy-out. We are interested in executives who have an investment thesis for the type of business they would like to acquire. In certain cases, Kirtland will work with the executives to develop an investment thesis.

Kirtland's role as a supportive partner to the executive includes identifying acquisition candidates, taking an active role in due diligence and negotiations, and, in addition to Kirtland's equity investment, arranging the required capital to complete the investment. Kirtland's support continues throughout the investment cycle to exit.

Executives are fairly compensated based upon their role and level of involvement. There are instances where executives have the ability to co-invest and/or participate in stock incentive programs. In some instances, interim projects evolve into full-time opportunities within portfolio companies.

Required Executive Experience

• P&L responsibility for a business with revenue of at least $50 million
• Leadership position as CEO, President, COO or General Manager
• Industry experience that aligns with KCP investment interests and/or portfolio companies
• Semi-retired or retired executives seeking board level, consulting and interim management roles where they can leverage their industry expertise
